School of Rock - Middle School Play
The School of Rock Middle School Play is a loud, unapologetic burst of energy that throws kids into the heart of rock-and-roll and lets them run wild. Fueled by big feelings, bigger riffs, and the chaos of growing up, the show follows a group of students who ditch expectations and discover who they are when a rule-breaking substitute pushes them to form a band and take the stage. It’s messy, electric, and full of heart—an honest look at kids finding courage, connection, and their own sound in a world that keeps trying to turn the volume down.
Playhouse Masquerade Ball
The Nosara Playhouse Masquerade Ball invites adults to step into a night of mystery, elegance, and playful intrigue, where hidden identities spark bold conversations and unexpected connections. Set beneath soft lights and lush tropical shadows, the evening blends refined revelry with a touch of decadence—flowing cocktails, evocative music, and the thrill of not knowing exactly who’s behind each mask. Guests are encouraged to lean into the drama, the glamour, and the sense of escape as the Playhouse transforms into a world where fantasy feels real and the ordinary rules fall away for just one unforgettable night.

The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe - Elementary Play
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe Elementary Play pulls young actors into a world that feels wild, cold, and full of wonder, where courage doesn’t come easy but shows up anyway. When four siblings stumble through an ordinary wardrobe into the freezing grip of Narnia, they’re forced to face down fear, trust their instincts, and stand up to a powerful queen who wants everything silent and still. With simple, honest performances and big imaginations, the kids bring the magic to life—battles, creatures, and all—reminding us that bravery can come from the smallest voices and that even the bleakest winter can break into hope.
School Dance
Every February, Nosara Playhouse hosts a prom-style dance for students in grades 6-9, inviting all children in the community to join in the fun. This evening features a DJ, a dance floor, delicious food, and a bounce-house. The students have a fun evening in which they socialize, celebrate, and make lasting memories with friends old and new.
Halloween Party
The Halloween party at Nosara Playhouse is a fun celebration with laughter and creativity. Families come together to enjoy entertaining performances by the children, including poetry readings, singing, and dancing. Everyone enjoys great music and food, and dresses up in spectacular halloween costumes!
